For the uninitiated, attunement slots are basically like spell slots in Dungeons & Dragons. They’re a limited resource that determines how many spells a character can have active at any given time.

In the case of Dark Souls III, attunement slots are determined by a character’s level of Attunement. This is a stat that can be increased by finding and using Attunement Charms.

Each level of Attunement gives the player one additional attunement slot.

So, if you’re wondering “how much is attunement for 5 slots?” the answer is “it depends.” The cost of attunement varies depending on how many points of Attunement you have.
