When TTD Slots Will Open for Darshan?

The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD) Board will soon open slots for darshan at the Tirumala temple in Andhra Pradesh. The board has decided to open the slots after a gap of almost six months.

The move comes after the state government allowed the temple to reopen for darshan from September 5.

The temple was closed on March 20 due to the coronavirus pandemic. The TTD had been providing e-darshan to devotees during this period.

However, with the gradual easing of restrictions, the board decided to reopen the temple for darshan.

The TTD has said that it will open 1,000 slots per day for darshan. The move is aimed at avoiding overcrowding at the temple and ensuring social distancing.

Devotees will have to book their slots in advance through the TTD’s website or mobile app. They will also have to undergo thermal screening and wear face masks.

The TTD has urged devotees not to visit the temple if they are feeling unwell or have any symptoms of COVID-19. It has also advised them to follow all safety guidelines issued by the government.

The reopening of the Tirumala temple is a welcome move in these difficult times. It will not only provide relief to devotees but also boost the state’s economy.
