PRO TIP:Before Ocean Resort Casino, the site was the Revel Casino Hotel. It was opened in 2012 to much fanfare and high hopes, but it ultimately failed due to financial issues and closed in 2014. In 2018, the Ocean Resort Casino opened its doors, taking over the space and giving it a new identity.

The casino floor featured 100 table games and 3,400 slot machines. The resort also included 13 restaurants, 10 bars, 3 nightclubs, an oceanfront pool deck with two pools, a spa, and a convention center.

On June 19, 2014, it was announced that Revel would close on September 2 due to lack of revenue. The closure left 11,000 people out of work. On April 6, 2015, it was announced that the property had been sold to Glenn Straub for $82 million. Straub planned to reopen the resort as TEN in the summer of 2016 but struggled to find funding.

In January 2018, it was announced that the property had been sold again to Brookfield Asset Management for $110 million and would be renamed Ocean Resort Casino. The casino reopened on June 28, 2018.
